3. Mount Soledad- A historical site set atop Mount Soledad. Great views of all the surrounding areas! A must see!

5. La Jolla Shores- Beautiful beach! Great spot to surf, scuba and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

6. Shell Beach Tide Pools- A great place to check out another masterpiece of mother nature. Typically there are a lot of sea shells washed up into the tide pools. You can even occasionally spot a sea lion. Make sure you wear shoes with a lot of traction.

7. Torrey Pines Golf Course- A very fun and challenging golf course. Amazing views!

8. Birch Aquarium at Scripps- Center for the world-renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. Features more than 60 habitats of fish and invertebrates.

9. Girard Avenue and Prospect Street- Great dining and shopping. Find parking and then walking is your best bet to get around. Everything is in close distance.

10. Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego- Full of different interactive exhibits for all age groups. Boasts wonderful views of the Pacific.
