My Journey as a Southern California Realtor at Four Seasons Properties

A year and a half ago I decided to up and leave Arizona where I had been selling cars and working endless hours. I had the opportunity to move to Southern California and start a new journey! I can't remember what made me make the final decision to leave, but I did and haven't looked back. It has been quite the journey and learning experience. I dove right into my new Real Estate career with my older brother as my mentor. He has taught me all about the market and how to work a Real Estate transaction from start to finish.

For those of you who think Realtors just find a home have you sign some forms and make a ton of money you are greatly mistaken. It is a tough job where you have to be constantly learning and improving your skills and techniques. You may make a great commission one day, but who knows when your next paycheck will come. It is somewhat of a mental roller coaster as is most sales jobs. However, the thrill of the sale is quite the rush!

My brother owns the company I work for which is Four Seasons Properties. He has worked endless hours to create this successful boutique Real Estate company. We do traditional sales, short sales, REO's and remodels. My favorite part of the business is flipping properties. We get to find the worst of the worst houses and make them the nicest house on the block! It is so much fun picking out the fixtures and the paint colors and making floor plan changes to get the most functional house possible. I love it! It is not all fun and games like the reality TV shows. It is a lot of analyzing, planning and overseeing. We have to make the home appeal to the masses and let our personal taste take the back burner. I couldn't be happier giving these homes a "face lift" here in Southern California.

In this first blog I just really wanted to introduce myself and get started on this blogging journey. I am excited to show you a little bit of what I do for work and for fun and how Real Estate has changed my life! Thanks for following and of course if you have real estate questions you can email me or go to my website.
